Self-starter with the ability to function independently as well as in a team-based environment. Impeccable attention to detail and deadlines with exceptional organizational skills. 1+ year of experience in women’s apparel – contemporary dresses strongly preferred. We are looking for someone with a strong trend knowledge and a great book for when they move up the ladder, as well as strong technical flat and CAD skills. This position is a support role for the Design team and will handle aspects of both design & sample line planning/production. The Assistant Designer should have at least one year of experience in the contemporary market – dress experience a plus.
